Children’s Services Awards, October 2010
Every year services throughout W.A are recognised for the contribution they make to the industry. This year, OrganiKids Childcare in Bassendean, WON the MOST INNOVATIVE SERVICE in W.A!! As you can imagine, we are all immensely proud & delighted to tell anyone who will listen, just why we love what we do so much!

3.5 – 5 YEAR OLD KINDERGARTEN
We are in the process of negotiating with local Council & landlords to extend our premises & create an exclusive 3.5 – 5 year old kindy here at OrganiKids. We envisage that it will be a small group of children (10 -12 max) that will spend school hours in their little classroom with a Kindy teacher & assistant. This service will enable parents of children that need long daycare & who may not be ready (or their children not ready) to go to kindy, to come to OrganiKids & receive top quality care as well as an emergent curriculum education. The smaller number of children will ensure that all children receive concentrated attention & extension of their skills, as well as time to scaffold upon the knowledge they already have. It will be a Reggio Emilia inspired Kindy with a fully emergent curriculum, meaning that it is not child centred or teacher directed; the “curriculum” is child originated & teacher framed.
