This inspiration from Reggio Emiliar has brought us to create a unique curriculum that originates from the child and is framed by the teacher. This approach allows children to change and
grow in a safe place. The environment is a particular focus at our centre. We guide children to work towards a more sustainable future and to appreciate and care for the world around us.
Leaving a child with a caregiver requires trust. Our qualified caregivers are carefully chosen in order to keep that bond of trust strong. A Diploma Qualified staff member with more than ten years of experience runs our Pre-Kindy room while our Kindy room is in the steady hands of a qualified Early Childhood teacher. Personalized care for each child is allowed for by multiple Certificate 3 staff in each room.
In order to help children grow we believe it’s imperative to protect the world they will inherit from us. As such we are conscious of the environment in everything that we do. Our facility is free of chemicals and we only use vinegar and eucalyptus for cleaning. This philosophy also extends to our menu planning. When possible we use organic produce when making meals.
If your child struggles with food allergies then it can be especially stressful to leave him or her at a child care centre. We understand the anxiety this can cause. In order to keep all our children safe and healthy we have created a menu to help strengthen immune systems and eliminate food allergens. Our meals are created from whole foods and do not contain wheat or dairy.
No child is an island – he/she is invariably shaped the community that surrounds them. Organikids realizes this and works to help strengthen the connections between children, families, and the community. We encourage parental involvement and feedback on the ways we can improve our centre. We also reach out to the community by getting involved with services that help promote family welfare and the use of local and recycled products.
